Brunton Boatyard - CGH Earth

I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and both nights the AC didn't work, and they couldn't fix it. The hotel is old with outdated infrastructure, which likely prevents them from addressing issues like the AC without significant upgrades. Despite this, they didn't offer me another room. The higher management appears to be very poor at managing the situation. My room faced a large ferry pick-up point, and the noise from the old engine ferry was as loud as a massive truck, waking me up every morning. The breakfast menu was very limited, and to make matters worse, I found a live insect in my meal, indicating extremely poor hygiene. Given the high price, I strongly recommend choosing another hotel, as you can find far better luxury elsewhere.

Cadre exceptionnel, emplacement privilégié. Attention le bac qui traverse la baie passe toutes le 10 mn et est très bruyant ! Restaurant à poisson exceptionnel avec un personnel adorable et attentif !!!chambre très belle grande au rez de chaussée au bord de la piscine avec terrasse charmante ! Balade en bateau organisée par l’hôtel à ne pas manquer!

Aperitivo e cena soIali , stepitosi , superlativi ! Non sono mai stata in un posto cosi meraviglioso, anzi potrei quasi osare e dire che tutto sembra divino, ammetto di aver pianto di gioia al primo boccone , per non parlare del personale , sono entrata talmente in sintonia con loro , che ormai li sento parte della famiglia !

Hôtel historique de caractère. Très bien situé pour visiter Fort Cochin, il bénéficie d’une vue dégagée sur la mer.
Le personnel est omniprésent pour satisfaire les clients.
Il convient de souligner des prestations bien agréables comme la sunset Cruise ou le thé et pâtisseries servis dans le lobby.
On peut toutefois regretter le manque de wifi dans les chambres et un wifi très chaotique à la réception.
Le ferry à proximité de l’hôtel est un spectacle dont le bruit peut vite indisposer certains clients.

Un hôtel magnifique, remarquablement rénové, sans aucune fioriture, aucun clinquant. Le service est attentionné, poli, efficace, sympa. La piscine est parfaite avec une vue inouïe sur la mer et les îles autour. On se promène après le thé dans le bateau de l'hotel. Un séjour parfait.

Das ist ein erstklassiges Hotel mit historischem Ambiente in zentraler Lage.
Einziger Nachteil: die lauten Motorgeräusche der direkt daneben abfahrenden Fähre so alle 5 bis 10 Minuten werden durch die Fenster kaum gedämmt. Wenn man sich am Pool aufhält, hat man zusätzlich den Gestank der Abgase.
Das Essen sowohl beim Frühstück als auch abends im Rerstaurant ist sehr vielfältig, stets frisch zubereitet und entsprechend lecker.
Das Personal des gesamten Hotels ist sehr freundlich und geht auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein.

Brunton hotel è una magnifica esperienza. L’hotel ha una struttura tipo coloniale. Molto bella. Ci tantissime piante e tutto è ben curato. L’hotel dispone di una piscina che sta sopra al mare. Il personale è molto gentile e sempre attento. Il ristorante “armoury” ha un ottimo menù di pesce e ringrazio Athira, che lavora lì per la sua grande professionalità. Ringrazio anche Sri Harry, Jyotika e Ankush per la loro gentilezza alla zona colazione. Il Brunton è situato in centro e davanti al mare. Abbiamo fatto una magnifica vacanza! Unica pecca la spa che è molto piccola così come la zona fitness. Spero di tornarci ancora. 😃

Hotel bellissimo, en una de las mejores zonas de Fort kochi, la habitación es espectacular, como toda la estructura..el personal es fantástico, todos trabajan para hacerte sentir especial..
Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa estar aquí.
Muy recomendado, volveré sin duda

Bel hôtel situé dans le centre de Fort Kochi .
Personnel très avenant prêt à satisfaire au mieux les clients .
Nous avons testé le restaurant historique qui propose cuisine variée et de grande qualité.
Dommage que l hôtel reste bruyant toute la journée a cause du ferry.

Très bel hôtel au cachet colonial de FORT KOCHI. L’embarcadère du bac démarrant toutes les 15 minutes bruyamment et polluant l’air représente une nuisance sonore non négligeable. Un nouvel embarcadère en construction plus éloigné de l’hôtel devrait réduire cette nuisance non négligeable…
Après le calme du KERHALA, nous étions déçus de cet emplacement.
L’hôtel est très joliment décoré dans le style en bois colonial et les chambres agréables.
Le restaurant SEA FOOD en terrasse est de grande qualité : poissons choisis par les clients et cuisinés par un chef de grande qualité.
Le restaurant intérieur est très moyen, salle sans charme et assez sombre. Cuisine moyenne. Service très moyen.
Petit déjeuner qui n’est pas à la hauteur des prestations affichées de l’hôtel.
Hôtel comme courte étape avant de rejoindre l’aéroport mais pas pour un séjour calme et reposant.

Sehr schönes Haus mitten in Fort Kochi, gleich neben den berühmten Chinese Fishernets. Direkt am Kanal.

Das alte liebevoll renovierte Haus - ehemalige Bootswerft - mit schönem Pool hat uns begeistert. Das Essen im Armoury-Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet - das Service indisch relaxt.

Einziger negativ anzumerkender Punkt ist die direkt neben dem Haus anlegende Fähre - fährt gefühlt von 7:00-22:00 durch - beim Ablegen wird es schon ziemlich laut von den Dieselmotoren. Aber man gewöhnt sich nach einem Tag daran.

Wir würden bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt in Fort Kochi sicher wieder dieses Hotel in Erwägung ziehen.

Un hotel BELLO por su ubicación en Fort Kochi, frente a la bahía, con preciosas vistas y una piscina FABULOSA.
La habitación, muy confortable, antigua en su estilo decorativo, clásica, solida, limpia, amplia, con un hermoso cuarto de baño con vistas al mar.
Esta cadena hotelera, CGH, esta totalmente dedicada a la hotelería SUSTENTABLE en todas sus propiedades, es una iniciativa que implementan con gracia, con filosofía, con recursos e inteligencia. Su orgullo por la bella Kochi y su compromiso con la historia les lleva a ofrecer a los huéspedes paseo en barco al atardecer y caminata guiada por casco histórico sin costo adicional, yo estaba a trabajo y me lo perdí. No se lo pierdan!
El agua que ofrecen como cortesía a los clientes, esta procesada y purificada en plantas propias, de fuente segura, y elimina los plásticos de la propiedad.
El Spa fue bueno, no mas que eso. Parecía faltar experiencia a la terapista.
Me ha gustado mucho el hotel, su estilo, habitación, edificio, ubicación y el staff super amable.
La única critica que debo hacer, es sobre la ausencia de opciones de comida continental, internacional. Y que en el desayuno las frutas cortadas estaban algo oxidadas. Seria interesante que a la linea de sustentabilidad, le sumaran opciones saludables a un desayuno mas dedicado al viajero internacional.
Volvería encantada a Brunton!

Top Lage und für uns das beste Hotel in Kochi. Direkt am Hafen und bei den chinesischen Fischernetzen, ideal für Spaziergänge durch das Zentrum der Stadt und die historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Herausgeragt unter allen Angestellten hat Asif, der mit außergewöhnlichem persönlichen Einsatz das unmögliche möglich gemacht hat. Nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank!

Ein eher kleines Hotel mit einem historischen Touch, früher war hier eine kleine Werft, von welcher sich der Name ableitet.
Beim Hafen von Fort Kochi gelegen, sehr ruhig, lediglich tagsüber hört man das Anlegen der Fähre. Unbedingt sollte man ein Sea Facing Zimmer buchen, vom Balkon aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Hafen und man kann vorbeifahrende Containerschiffe beobachten.
Die Gästezimmer haben mittlere Größe und sind leicht historisch möbliert. Das Badezimmer hingegen ist sehr groß. Etwas ungewöhnlich erschien uns das hohe Bett mit einer „Aufstiegshilfe“. Geschlafen haben wir darin aber sehr gut.
Ein wirklich toller Service zeichnet das Hotel aus. So gibt es täglich um 17 Uhr Kaffee, Tee und Sweets gratis, um 17:30 kann man mit dem hoteleigenen Boot eine Hafenrundfahrt machen – ebenfalls ohne Gebühr.
Die Aufmerksamkeit der Kellner ist super, das Essen schmeckt vorzüglich und ist dazu noch ziemlich billig. Beim Frühstück hat man große Auswahl zum Bestellen und auch da gibt es perfekten Service.

Wir waren im August 2019 für fast eine Woche dort untergebracht. Es ist ein sehr gepflegtes, wunderschönes Hotel mit direkter Lage am Wasser. Unser Zimmer hatte auch eine Badewannde, direkt am Fenster. Was nicht ganz so schön war, waren die Netze vor unseren Fenstern, die die Vögel abgehalten haben, dort zu nisten.
Wir wurden stets freundlich begrüßt, mehrfach am Tag wurde unser Bettzeug "gerichtet" und wir haben in keinem anderen Hotel am Ort so gut geschultes Personal erlebt. Das hoteleigene Essen war spitzenmäßig mit einer sehr guten Weinauswahl.
Der Nachteil war, dass wir nur mit geschlossenem Fenster schlafen konnten, weil der Fähranleger keine 100 m entfernt ist. Oropax lagen dann auch gleich auf den Nachttischen bereit. Das bedeutete, wenn wir das Zimmer tagsüber verlassen haben, haben wir die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet und wenn wir dann schlafen wollten, haben wir sie wieder abgeschaltet.
Die Matratze in unserem Bett war leider viel zu weich, so dass mein Mann und ich jeden Morgen mit Rückenschmerzen aufwachten, da half auch jede Ayurveda-Massage leider nichts.
Trotzdem können wir das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und wir empfehlen jedem, der das hoteleigene Restaurant und unten den Frühstücksraum betritt, immer ein Halstuch/Schal zu tragen, weil dort die Klimaanlage auf kühl eingestellt ist.

Das Hotel ist "plastikfrei". Es besitzt eine eigene Wasserreinigungsanlage. Das Leitungswasser ist ganz weich und man bekommt jeden Tag ein paar Flaschen stilles Wasser auf sein Zimmer gestellt. Das fanden wir super, denn es ist durchaus trinkbar!

Situado en Kochi, se trata de un hotel tranquilo, muy cuidado y donde el servicio es impecable y muy amable. El restaurante es recomendable. Muy buena experiencia sobre todo por los buenos detalles que tienen con los huéspedes.

La mejor opcion que pudimos reservar. Viajamos en familia y fue el mejor hotel que pudimos escoger. La atención del personal fue muy atenta especialmente con las peques. La ubicacion es perfecta para recorrer a pie la ciudad. Tanto los restaurantes como la piscina merecen la pena!!! Muy recomendable

L'hotel in stile coloniale è posizionato nei pressi del porto al limitare della città vecchia. Stanze molto belle e ampie, bella piscine e accoglienza di grande professonalità caratterizzano questa struttura. Un plauso al direttore che accoglie tutti gli ospiti personalmente con cortesia^. A noi è stato offerto aperitivo nel bel bar e ci hanno prenotato tavolo sulla terrazza dell'hotel venendo incontro alle nostre esigenze (una persona non mangiava pesce). Per finire grande attenzione anche durante la colazione servita alla carta e non a buffet come sempre dovrebbe essere. Complimenti hotel altamente raccomandato.

Hotel molto bello, coloniale, servizi eccellenti. Abbiamo cenato all’esterno, sul mare, in una serata particolare dove era previsto tutto cibo alla griglia. Location meravigliosa e cena buonissima. L'hotel ha una posizione veramente suggestiva. Consigliatissimo

Hotel in stile coloniale ricco di un fascino d’altri tempi con confort e servizi che soddisfano gli standard moderni. Camera pertanto superconfortevole con arredi d’epoca, materasso tra i piú comodi in assoluto, ampia varietá dei migliori the dell India... e tante piccole accortezze che sarebbe troppo lungo elencare. Personale attento ed efficiente che chiedere di piú è impossibile. Nota di merito al ristorante. Abbiamo cenato sulla terrazza grill food e abbiamo deciso per la fish experience. Mi è difficile ricordare un altro posto dove ho mangiato del pesce cucinato con tanta maestria. State attenti però alle zanzare 🙄
